Halloween

This year for Halloween we Had a little party. My parents, The Avery's and The Stillmans came over. We decorated pumpkins and made some Marshmallow witches. My mom made some delicious clam chowder and hot chocolate. Then we were off Trick or Treating. we had to watch Jaxon close because he kept trying to grab handfuls of candy. I Think that about covers all of our Halloween excitement. Oh our uncle mike dressed up as the Joker from the "Dark Night" he was pretty creepy he even had the creepy smile down.
Now for an update on the fam. Brandon started a new job about 3 weeks ago. He works for the Diamond Ranch Academy. Its a boys home in Hurricane. He likes it so far He works long shifts but then he gets like 4 days off. And he gets all the good stuff like over time, 401 K, insurance, He gets paid to sleep there, free meals, weekends off. I think the only downside is the drive but that's really not that big of deal. Since were both working alot we decided to put the boys in a day care. But they've only been once so far. So I guess will see how that goes. Jaden and Jaxon are still doing the things little boys do everyday. watch cartoons, dumping all the toys out and the occasional fights. Jaxon is still a little terror He has to be watched at all times. And that's not easy for me to do so the other day he got into my shave gel and had it all over his neck and face. I said "who did that" and he said "swiper did" for those of you who don't know who swiper is he is the fox on dora. And Me well I still work at smiths 33 hours a week and then I'm mom the rest of the time. But My mom sisters and I are planning a trip to Vegas to do a little Christmas shopping So I'm sooo excited for that Its the only little vacation I get all year and I'm very ready for it. And Our insurance has finally decided to pay on ALL of our hospital bills (only a year later) But I feel so much better knowing that we don't owe like 20,000. oh but my credit card they just decided to raise my interest rate to 23.99% I know that alot of the credit card companies are doing this. it just makes me mad because Its like I've had the credit card for like 6 years and I've made my payments every month and on time. But oh well I guess its just time to close the account. I guess that about does it for the last couple of months.

Summer Fun

Well its getting to be the end of summer and that makes me kinda sad. I'm not ready for the cold weather. Today when i was getting off work I noticed that the Halloween candy was getting put out. I can't belive that a couple more months and it will be that time. where does the time go? anyways we didn't do a whole lot this summer. But we had Jaxon's birthday on the 21 of July then the Heap reunion on the 1st of August and then Jadens birthday on the 18th of August. I had the boys birthday pictues done at kiddie kandids in st george so while we were there we went to the sand hallow aquatic center. I wish i would have had my camera there, Jaxon LOVES the big slid. me and Brandon had to keep takeing turns takeing him down. Jaden dared go down once and he was screaming the whole time. but that was probably one of the funnest things we did all summer. Oh our garden has been giveing us some suculant vegtables. We've had corn, turnips (I haven't ate any of thoes yet the smell of them makes me sick)lots of zuccini, and yellow crooknecks, carrots, peas, and a ton of cucumbers (which I'm going to bottle some pickels out of them) a bunch of green tomatoes we've had about 5 red ones. and the cantalope are starting to get ripe so hopefully they will be good. and two big watermelon. hum.... I doubt that anyone really cares to know about our vegtables so moveing on now. Brandon and I are still just working at smiths so that keeps us busy. Oh i have to tell you all this story that happened at work the other day. It was like 2 or 3 in the afternoon when a customer came into the store and informed us that there was a child outside locked in a van in the like 95 degree weather. so one of our employees made an announcement over the intercom for the owner to come up front and get the kid out of the freakin hot van. Then I went on break and when i was done the Ambulance and a couple of cops were there. I guess the lady didn't finish her shopping fast enough and so the cops were called and broke the window out of the van to get the kid out. I guess the little boy was in there for at least 15 min. I don't know what ended up happening to the lady But i hope she feels horrible. who in there right mind would do that? I know that some people have accidently left there kid in the car. But this lady left her kid locked in the van with no windows open or a/c on. and she freakin was shopping it wasn't like she was going to run in and then run back out. Anyways some people are just seriously stupid. So i guess we've had a good summer. here's some pictures from our summer.
This was our first sleep out on the trampoline It didn't quit go as planned first Jaxon wanted to go inside so i took him in and then Jaden decided that he wanted to go inside so i took him inside and we all fell asleep. Then at like 2 a.m. Brandon woke up and realized that he was the only one out there so he came in too. Maybe next summer it will work out better.

Camping

we went camping with my parents so we decided that we needed to play the classic girls camp game "GORILLA" It didn't work very good the kids were to little. they didn't understand that they wern't supposed to roar on the 3rd time so yeah It didn't work but Nikki got a good picture of my mom and Jaxon ROARING!

Hum.....

Well I guess its time for my monthly update. So far this month we've had the 4th of July (my favorite Holiday) My Birthday and next is Jaxon's birthday. For the 4th of July we headed to delta to watch the parade have our bbq swim and do fire works. The boys even got to see all of the parade this year. No one got locked in the car so that was good. After the Parade we went to my mom and dads and had our bbq Then we got the slip n slide and pool out. I decided that next year I'm takeing my swim suit and am joining in on the fun. Both Jaden and Jaxon are pretty good slip n sliders. Then we just hung out until it was dark enogh to do the fireworks. It was a pretty fun 4th next year we might even go to the Demoliton Derby. Then for my big 28th birthday well it was a good day. We didn't really do anything got some Papa Erphy's (papa Murphys)But Jaden calles it papa erphys. And now I'm just trying to get ready for the boys birthdays. Oh I got them a trampoline its supposed to be for their birthday but we had to put it up as soon as we got it. I think I like It as much as they do. I can't wait until we can sleep outside on it. I just have to convince Jaden that he won't get eaten by mosquitos. Our Garden is finally starting to grow stuff. Were getting a bunch of little tomatos. And we've picked some big Radishes and today I picked a few peas. So I'm pretty excited about that. Oh I'm very excited about this. Jaxon is really starting to like Cartoons now. He'll sit and watch t.v. now. I Know that's probably not a good thing But I really couln't be happier. Its so nice to be able to actually get some things done now. I don't have to worry as much that he's getting into stuff. I wish i would have written down all the things that kid has done. He has ruined aboutu 4 of my tubes of Mascara he thinks its a marker I guess and draws on the back of the chair, he got into the bottle of tums, vitamines, My sisters midol, he dumped about a half bottel of syrup on the floor, he got into the garage and got a gallon of paint and some how got the lid off and decided to dump it out on the carpet. I bet he's ruined at least 10 of brandons tubes of chapstick. he's squished all the tooth paste on the floor Oh and the icy hot I think he thought that was toothpast too and tried eating it and then came running in sticking his tounge out saying "hot" I think you all get the point I could go on and on. So now maybe you can kind of understand why I'm pretty excited that he'll actually sit and watch cartoons. Now I'm just kind of Rambeling so I guess thats all I have to say for my post for this month.

Falling off blog planet

Its been a while since I last up-dated my blog so here's a little update. I picked up an extra day at work so now I only get 2 days off so I don't have to much time to blog. We got a new addition to the family His name is Bobo. He's a cute little black kitten. he's been keeping us entertained he plays with the boys really well. Brandon has been busy working, golfing, doing work in the yard, driving me and the boys around. Yeah My car broke down about 2 months ago and its sucked. It took like 3 weeks just to find out what was wrong with the thing and then we found out that it needed a new engine well my car isn't worth putting a new engine in it, so its still sitting at the auto place. So we've spent alot of time just driving each other around. But thanks to my parents they got a new car so they gave me there old one. Its sooooo nice having my own car again for me to know that I'm not stuck home all day is a great feeling. Jaden is getting bigger every day he's getting pretty good at riding his scooter and he's getting excited to start school (were hoping that he gets into the head start program) and he's very excited to get his new trampoline it should be coming tomorrow (hopefully) I'm probably more excited about it then he is My dad would never let us have one so the little kid in me is like "yes finally my own trampoline" Jaxon is still into everything, after one of his messes I remembered to grab the camera first. so the pictures I'm going to put up are of him getting into the Ranch dip. We took the boys swimming with the Avery's and the Stillmans a couple weeks ago. And they loved it we went to the pool in st george, yes we drove to st george to go swimming at there pool. For those of you who have been to the cedar pool know that it SUCKS! the only place for little kids to play on is the ramp that goes down into the water. Anyways we all had a fun time at the st george pool I even took Jaxon down the big slid and he loved it. He was shivering the whole time but he was loving every minute. But he's also getting so big he's talking really well and catches onto things really quick. And me well hum.... I feel like I just work and check on the Garden. I am obsessed with our Garden we planted it right before mothers day and almost everything died we had about 4 tomato plants live. And we had planted cucumbers, yellow crookneck, golden squash, and zucchini and they all died. So I went and bought some more tomato plants and then some cucumber and squash seeds. Well everything we planted from seed is coming up and I'm so excited I'm crazy I know but everyday i see a new plant coming up and its a happy feeling. I get all excited to get up in the morning to see it anything new came up. And today I noticed that we have some apples on the tree's and some peaches on the peach trees. Hum.... I think that about wraps up the last month. now i must go get some cleaning done oh one more thing that really bugs me. were only supposed to water on odd days and not between the hours of 8am and 8pm so i guess that means the kids can't play in the water during the hot summer days and I only get like an hour to water before it gets dark. Is that stupid or what I know we have to conserve water But hey I'm just trying to "go green" I have to keep my plants watered for them to live. So of course I'm going to be breaking the rule's until we get in trouble. And then I'm going to say "sorry man I was just trying to "go green"

Easter

For Easter I had to work all weekend fun fun. Brandon and they boys went to Hatch and got to visit with Don, Deanna, The Sherratt's, The Lunts and The Vernon's. The boys were able to go to the easter egg hunt there. Then on Sunday Morning the boys got up and got to see what the easter bunny brought them. Then Brandon and I went and had our Patriotical Blessing's ( I don't know how to spell Patriotical?? neither does the spell check) But you all know what I'm talking about huh. Then it was off to Delta for the day. My mom always does a little easter egg hunt for the kids she even hide's a "golden egg" It usually has money in it. And this year my mom was so sure that no one was going to find it so she let us Adults look for it too. Nikki ended up finding it so she was the lucky one who took home the prize of $5.00. After the Egg hunt Grandpa took all the kids for on 4-wheeler ride's. Then it was time to head back to cedar. But I think we all had a good time Here's the easter pictures.

Life Laughs

Those of you that know me know that I don't read books. I can't even remember the last book I read. Even in High School we had to read these books and then take a test on them. I was like yeah right I'm not reading a book. So i just had someone else read the book take the test and write down the answers. Well the first time I tried to use the cheat sheet I got caught. The Mean Liberian caught me she came and got me out of class and was asking where i got the cheat sheet I was like "oh I found it" Then she wanted me to go home and tell my mom what I had done and then I was supposed to go back and talk to her. I was like yeah OK I'll go tell my mom what I did yeah right! Anyways so my point is I did what ever I had to do to get out of reading a book. Well I've been a LITTLE tempted to get motivated to read "Twilight" since everyone says its this great book. Well this week Brandon and the boys have been gone so I've had all this quit time to just do nothing so I was like Ok I'm going to read a book. Well while I was at work I found this book by Jenny McCarthy called Life Laughs I read the back and It was pretty funny so I was like Forget Twilight THIS is my kind of book. So i bought it and had it read in 2 days It was a pretty funny book and now I'm excited to read her other books. So i guess I'm going to be one of the few people who never read the twilight books I just can't make myself be interested in a romance book about a vampire. But I am Proud of my self for even reading a book. Sorry I have no pictures to go along with this story hopefully after Easter I'll have some cute one's. Bye for now
